USA SDGs Olympiad (USO) 2025
The USA SDGs Olympiad (USO) is an international competition held online for students in Grades KG to 12, aimed at promoting awareness and action around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There will be 2 levels of competition for students across all grades. The Olympiad tests students’ critical thinking, creativity, and awareness of global issues, and is to be completed in 60 minutes. For students in KG and Grade 1, the exam is parent/teacher assisted and lasts 45 minutes.
The Olympiad consists of two main sections:
- Section-1: Core SDG Awareness
- Section-2: Achievers’ Challenge (Advanced SDG Application)

- Individual grade-wise assessments
- Exam conducted in English
- Based on global curriculum and UN SDG framework
- Conducted on laptops, desktops, or tablets with webcam (no mobile phones)
- For KG and Grade 1, adult assistance is allowed
- Students can participate from home if not registered via a school
